Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of designkit.tools (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The service

designkit.tools provides free, browser-based tools for designers and online sellers (barcode and QR code generation, image resizing and compression, color conversion, bleed and resolution calculators, and a marketplace fee calculator, among others). No account or sign-up is required to use the free tools.

2. How your files are handled

The tools that work with your files process them locally, in your own browser. Your files are not uploaded to our servers as part of normal use of these tools. See our Security and Privacy Policy pages for details.

3. Paid features

Some tools offer an optional paid unlock for additional functionality (for example, vector export). Paid features are processed through Stripe, a third-party payment processor; we do not collect or store your card details. The exact price, what is unlocked, and how long access lasts are shown to you before you pay, at checkout. We do not currently offer refunds for paid unlocks unless required by applicable law, but you're welcome to contact us if something goes wrong with a purchase.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to: violate any applicable law; upload, generate or distribute content that infringes someone else's intellectual property or rights; attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer or scrape the Service in a way that harms its availability for other users; or use the Service's paid checkout or serverless functions for anything other than their intended purpose.

5. Your content, our tools

Files and images you process using the Service remain yours — we make no claim of ownership over them. The Service itself (its code, design, and the designkit.tools name and logo) belongs to designkit.tools and may not be copied or redistributed as a competing product without permission.

6. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is", free of charge for its free tools, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. In particular, tools that relate to print production (such as the Bleed Calculator, Resolution Checker or Color Converter) are provided as a convenience and a starting point — we do not guarantee that their output is error-free or fit for every printer's specific requirements. For anything going to press or to a client, please double-check critical files against your printer's or client's own specifications before submission.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, designkit.tools and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including print errors, lost files, or business losses. Our total liability for any claim relating to a paid feature is limited to the amount you paid for that feature.

8. Third-party services

The Service uses Google Analytics and Google AdSense, and Stripe for payments. Your use of features that rely on these services is also subject to those providers' own terms. See our Privacy Policy for details.

9. Changes to the service or these terms

We may update, add to, or discontinue tools or features at any time, and may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change to these Terms means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. This page is a general-purpose Terms of Service and has not been reviewed by a lawyer for your specific situation — if you have a legal question about your use of the Service, please seek independent legal advice.
